"The Secret Journal of Doctor Demagol" now online!

Bookmark and Share

A busy week for short stories! The Secret Journal of Doctor Demagol is now online here at StarWars.com on its Hyperspace fan club service.

This is a fun little story I had originally conceived of as a companion piece for Demagol's origin story, which eventually ran in Knights of the Old Republic #48. In effect, we get to see what was going on "behind the mask" from the beginning of the series (before we actually meet the devilish doctor) to the end. If you've read the Knights of the Old Republic trades, it's good background — and insight into the madness that is Demagol!

A page has been created here on the site — just one more think I'll need to get notes on eventually.

Finally, I'll be back at Galaxy Comics in downtown Stevens Point, Wis., for Free Comic Book Day. Right on Clark Street, you can't miss it. I'll be there from 1 to 3 Saturday. Be sure to check out FCBD events wherever you are!

Good heavens! Two posts in two days.Well, that's because there is something from Chicago: the first of two podcasts I recorded there, with Forcecast.

Lost Tribe of the Sith #4 Now Online!

Double-dealing and triple-dealing! Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith #4: Savior is online now for free download at StarWars.com.

This is a fun one — all of the threads from the crash-landing of Omen come together, closing out the first half of this history of the Lost Tribe on Kesh. You can find the simple PDF at the official site — and you can get the Kindle download from Amazon here. You can get the Sony ereader file here — and the Barnes & Noble version here. All sorts of digital choices!

The download also includes a preview of the fifth Fate of the Jedi novel, Allies, by Christie Golden.

Enjoy — and drop me a line. My apologies for the silence here lately —I realize I'm quite behind on my production notes, as well as posting anything from C2E2 in Chicago. I came right back here from the con to delve into Knight Errant. I'll get everything updated soon. It's been a busy spring!

Singing schedule for Chicago's C2E2 convention

My signing schedule for C2E2 at Chicago's Lakeside Center at McCormick Place has been finalized. I'll be signing Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic, and any other books you might bring — so be sure to stop by the Dark Horse booth if you have the chance.

I'll be signing on Friday April 16th at 2 p.m., and again on Saturday, April 17th at 3 p.m.

Hope to see you there!

Mass Effect: Redemption #4 -- the conclusion!

Bookmark and Share

If I read the shipping list correctly, the blockbuster finale to Mass Effect: Redemption hits shelves today. Issue #4 completes the first comics storyline based on the hit video game franchise. It's plotted by game designer Mac Walters, scripted by yours truly, and drawn by Omar Francia — with a cover by Daryl Mandryk. Don't miss it!

If there's something that's been missing here lately, it's been me — I realize I'm behind on getting Production Notes online for a few things. It's in the name of a good cause, as I'm busy writing the Star Wars: Knight Errant novel. I hope to get a few moments free soon for some thoughts on works just released. Stay tuned!
